The stateside, beach music and art festival known as Gratitude Migration returns this weekend, 14-16 July, for its third edition.
Held at New Jersey’s hELLO Beach, the event is packed with a diverse lineup featuring crowd favorites and undiscovered talent, centered around this year’s theme, “United in Gratitude”. The mission-driven festival is one for bridging the gaps between creative city-dwelling communities and the local town of Keansburg, NJ. It fuses the principles of Burning Man of New York City, with an ethos bringing the practice of gratitude as well as an exchange of cultural, creative, and community values to under-served communities.
Gratitude Migration, which was born out of Brooklyn’s warehouse event series Gratitude NYC, uniqueness stems from immersive experiences that fuse art, music, performance and intention into memorable moments meant to create a sense of community. Musically, the festival will feature the likes of Moon Boots, The Golden Pony, Anna Morgan, David Starfire, Mateo and David Kiss, while an expanded array of activities, both planned and spontaneous are also on hand.
