Innervisions’ Henrik Schwarz and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin have launched a remix contest, inviting aspiring electronic musician a chance to be published by SONY Classical.

By taking Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4, participants are able to remix and reimagine its samples, ultimately creating a lasting bridge between two musical styles: classical and electronic. Along with Henrik, a panel of esteemed jury members will pick five winners and, aside from the record contract, each winning piece will be performed at the Casual Concert at the Philharmonie Berlin on 1 April 2016, as well as at the Sonos Lounge on 31 March 2016. Also, each respective winner will receive prizes courtesy of Sonos, Ableton or Native Instruments alongside the performances.

The only requirements of the competition are participants use two of the provided elements, and its length does not exceed 12 minutes. The deadline for contributions is January 31, 2016.
