Online streaming has never been bigger than it is now, and there are few bigger names in that game than Be-At.tv. At the same time, online radio is now a massive resource for music fans everywhere and Ibiza Sonica Radio is one of the key outlets in the field. It is simply massive news, then, that the former has just purchased the latter in order to showcase the sounds of Ibiza to an even wider global audience.
To celebrate this coming together, a massive free party was thrown in Ibiza Old Port town. undoubtedly the biggest event the port has ever seen, it is also free, which is a return to the old school values of the white isle and ensures everyone who wants to can be part of a grand music adventure.
The production was impressive throughout this event and was run by the team behind IMS Dalt Vila and the visuals and artistic direction for performers came from Romain from the world beating Ushuaia, so it really looked incredible against the backdrop of Ibiza town. A huge ship also happened to be moored up down one side of the event which only added to the nautical magic of it all.

In all, 15,000 people turned up to this celebratory event and across the space of six hours it really did make a big impression. headline sets came from Ibiza Sonica and Be-At regards including Guy Gerber and Nic Fanciulli. Both Djs did their thing, with a real sense of poise and purpose, plenty of melody and tons of lovely grooves.
There were many magic moments, including sing alongs to Daft Punk tunes and hands in the air moments when top tracks from Cirez D, Oxia, Hot Since 82 and wAFF all resonated widely. This really was a fine occasion that surely makes the start of something magical for both brands, and here’s hoping they throw another huge free party before too long.
