Across two days in May, The White Isle’s fast growing club Sankeys Ibiza will be opening up their season in style with two parties on May 20th and May 21st. Last year Sankeys broke all records with their mix of nights that included the likes of Tribal Sessions, CUFF and ViVA. Thousands of people turned up and made the club one of the most talked about and atmospheric on the whole of the White Isle. Not afraid to shake things up, Sankeys offered properly underground music from truly talented DJs and producers, and didn’t just search out the big names to sell tickets. That will be the same story once again this year.
Sankeys is now into it’s 5th year on the island. The Ibiza club is something to behold having yet again pushed the boundaries of sound and light, improving on even their own high standards by completely revamping sound and lighting across the dancefloors to really make the club awaken.
This year’s full residency programme will be unveiled on Thursday 12th March, what we can reveal to you today is the opening party line ups. Part one features close friends and residents of Sankeys including Swedish techno don and Drumcode boss Adam Beyer alongside the talented Ida Engberg, Danish label boss Noir will be gracing the decks plus the one and only house hero Darius Syrossian, German hit machines Sidney Charles and Santé as well as Manu Gonzalez will also be playing on the 20th.
Part two comes just a day later on the 21st and features last year’s residents Duke Dumont (the man who took house music to the top of the UK charts), King of the Basement and ViVA boss Steve Lawler as well as French g-house pin-ups Amine Edge & DANCE. They will be joined by Tribal residents Greg Vickers and Jozef K as well as the original Colors residents Matt Jam Lamont (TuffJam) and Sam Holt (Copyright) plus Andy Baxter & Dave Lubin.
