III Points is coming back to the sunshine state and each year their line up seems more impressive. The 2016 edition features acts like LCD SoundSystem, Thievery Corporation and M83.
A line up going for some selective old school hip hop artists, Indie rock and some of the finest dance music artists such as Dixon, Benoit & Sergio, Dusky, Danny Daze, Kink and more….We hand picked five artists you should absolutely not miss during the 3 day festival.
Maya Jane Coles
The British – Japanese phenomenon needs no introduction. From her incredible sets around the world to her breath taking productions, Maya will surely be the massive highlight of the festival. Her music is known to break genres and who better could do this than a lady in an industry where male DJs are constantly the biggest share. Like all the III Pointers, we very much look forward to her performance!
Flights Facilities
Flight Facilities is an Australian duo also known as Hugo & Jimmy. Their tracks and live shows with Giselle made them one of the biggest references in electronic music. Their vibe is usually aiming nu-disco, deep house, electro and everything in between, always with a lovely soul in it! If you don’t know them, save yourself and check out their, LIVE ALBUM!! yeah that’s right!
DJ Koze
Hamburg based DJ Koze is the mastermind behind Pampa Records. Coming from a hip hop background with a mix tape for the emblematic DJ Kicks series, he has worked his way up with numerous beautiful house tunes, the most memorable being XTC, an anthem to the forbidden pleasure pill… DJ Koze builds his sets on house and disco tracks and uses his well-hones Hip Hop skills blending it all together in a furious mix.
Ben UFO
Ben is one of the few DJs who made his name by delivering DJ sets, Ben never needed to enter the world of production, though he co-founded Hessle Audio, a label home to Pangaea, Pearson Sound, Bruce and much more. Ben has been a major player in the dance music scene in London for many years and he runs his own show on Rinse FM / 106.8 FM every Thursday night.
DJ Tennis
Miami based Italian born DJ Tennis makes very few appearances in Florida and all of them are always very special. His label Life & Death has pushed to the top the likes of Mind Against and Tale of us, his own productions on Kompakt, Aus Music, Bedrock and even OM records make him a one of a kind artist. Just play his Boiler Room mix and you will understand what DJ Tennis is about!
