Claiming DJ Mag’s title of Best Breakthrough back in 2013, Citizenn has continued to live up to expectations and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. Today the Brit premieres his new track, Story So Far.

November marks a new venture and direction for Citizenn‘s productions. Having previous releases on house labels like Crosstown Rebels and 20 20 Vision, the producer has decided to step foot on new territory, Kaluki Musik.

The creative industry is something in which Citizenn has left no page unturned. He has experience in fashion, film and now music production. It is evident that his creative mind and ability to express himself has been diverted through lots of different channels, ultimately allowing him to achieve the success he has today.

The three tracks on his ‘Feelings‘ EP showcase an interesting concoction of percussion that deepens throughout each track, whilst today’s premiere hosts more of a sporadic feel with echoing synths. Story So Far begins with a robotic melody that hosts quite an absent feel. The track suddenly emerges in to something with a much deeper and darker weighting, that really allows the track to further itself into a Saturday night crowd pleaser. Also featured on the EP is the title track Feelings and  Turbo’s Harvard Bass rework of Story So Far.

Citizenn’s diverse approach to production has taken him allover the world playing in a range of well renowned events such as Hideout festival and also bagging himself a spot at Berghain.

Citizenn’s ‘Feelings’ EP is out on Kaluki Musik 28th November 2016.
