Lex: We might have taken things easy the night before but during the Innervisions we went all in. So much so that we were invited to come to a lil’ private Innervisions party where Jon Charnis played a great set and Dixon, Âme, Mano Le Tough, Marcus Worgull, Baikal were all present at the beautiful Papaya Playa venue, which we found out to be the same venue for Boiler Room earlier that week. It took a few days but we found the place in the end after all haha! After this magical happening of relaxation with a view of the beach and an infinity pool right by our side it was time to go back to Playa del Carmen and take a bit of a power nap. 2 hours of sleep was enough to get right back at it, as Solomun+1 with Âme was on the menu. Tune after tune was perfect, a set of pure magic with these guys playing a b2b at the beautiful Canibal Royal yet again. After the show it was time to push out the last bit of energy left in us to see our friend Room303 play the warm up set at the Hot Creations night at La Santanera, which was a great way to end this marathon. After his set even standing seemed like too much and it was time to sleep, for about 12 hours.
The next day it was time to visit Tulum to do some snorkeling, swimming, lying on the beach and relaxing, no parties that day. One day of that eventually turned to two to be honest. A big lunch at 100% Natural with some energizing shakes and a salad, definitely a place we recommend going to. Afterwards a last glimpse of the beach and then it was time to pack our bags already and leave this beautiful place. It was hard to say goodbye, but luckily it was a see you later rather than a goodbye. Our ears and feet were fulfilled with an amazing week of great music and beautiful venues sceneries and great food.
