Club AIR is to clubbers what George Clooney is to female coffee lovers: suave, tolerant, cosmopolitan and free spirited
We are happy to announce that Pete Tong will play his legendary British house at AIR Amsterdam during ADE on Thursday, 17th October. Pete Tong is an old hand in the turntable rockers guild. He was already spinning Vinyl’s when most of today’s young cats were still spinning rounds on a tricycle. Bringing over three decades of DJing experience into the game, Pete Tong knows how to properly rock a crowd. However, he is not the only reason why house lovers should join in this much anticipated party. Pete will bring along some of Britain’s younger lads such as fellow Londoner Skream, Ben Pearce from Manchester and the aspiring Berlin-based talent Tensnake.
The second area will be invaded by some upcoming British DJ forces from the forward-thinking electronic music label Moda Black. Prepare yourself for a groundbreaking house experience when Shadow Child, Jaymo & Andy George, Unit7 and Walker & Royce step into the scene. Keep your ears tuned especially for bright young sparks Jaymo & Andy George as they unite spherical house music with bumpy bass lines in a unique flavour.
However, the excitement doesn’t end at the kick-ass line up. At the epicentre of Amsterdam’s nightlife, Club AIR is to clubbers what George Clooney is to female coffee lovers: suave, tolerant, cosmopolitan and free spirited. AIR disposes not only of possibly the biggest air conditioner in town but also of exceptional audio-visual facilities, including the state of the art void acoustics sound system. AIR’s interior design was conceptualized by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. Even though AIR is a large club with a maximum capacity of 1300, the objective is to create an intimate atmosphere, whether there are 100 or 1000 guests. The club is partitioned to maintain this feeling throughout.
